bed-buddy

I love to love my Bed Buddy Microwave Heat Pack!  I am cold all the time, and this little guy helps keep me warm!  You heat it up for a few minuet in the microwave, and you’ve got a little warm pack ready to go.  Alot of people use this to treat back pain, neck pain, ect.  It really works great for pain or just for a little warm up :) .  I like to heat it up at night and put it at the end of my bed to help keep my feet warm.  It’s the best!

I love to LOVE NBC’s The Office!  Is there a more quality sitcom on TV?!  Awkward humor is right up my alley and you don’t get much more awkward than office boss, Michael Scott!   You just can’t help but fall in love with this dysfunctional group of co-workers.  Even Dwight has his moments of likability.  And who can resist Pam and Jim?  They are one of my favorite love stories of all time.  This show is mesmerizing to me, I just cannot resist this comedy perfection!  Thursdays cannot come early enough!

I love to love Kraft Food & Family Magazine!  I get this 2-3 times a year in my mail box for free.  It’s full of great recipes, quick tips, and fun new products!  I know, it’s basically just trying to get me to buy Kraft products to use in their recipes, but it’s way more than just a big advertisement.  I substitute the store brand ingredients all the time for the Kraft ingredient, and the recipes are still great (sorry Kraft).  I love that the recipes usually require just a few ingredients and are quick and easy.  You can view all the recipes from several years back here.

I love to love the Indiana State Fair!  Most people think this is crazy, they hate the State Fair, but I love it!  I have been going to the Indiana State Fair my whole life.  It brings back so much nostalgia as soon as I walk through the gates.  This is really hard for my husband to understand.  Since he didn’t grow up here, the first thing that he gets when he walks in the gate is a whiff of the animals :) .  What I love most about the fair is the food.  I don’t waste my time with any of the fried candy bars.  I head right for the ribbon fries.  So good! I also usually get a grilled cheese and milk shake from the dairy barn, but this year I tried something new.  Jason and I got pulled pork sandwiches from the pork tent.  They were delicious!  Sort of weird to walk through the pork barn and then grab a sandwich, but good none the less.  My favorite new thing this year was the LAMAS!  So fun, I loved seeing them up close and personal.  Aren’t they the weirdest animals you have ever seen?  If you have never been to the State Fair, go next year, you’ll love it!

I love to love Noblesville, Indiana!  I spent 17 years of my life calling this great place home.  I love the neighborhood I grew up in, how it has sidewalks and a community park and pool, and lots of trees.  I love Morse Lake, and my old high school.  I love the downtown square with Alexander’s Ice Cream and Noble Coffee and Tea.  I love that my ENTIRE family lives in this town!  If this wasn’t enough, Forbe’s magazine recently named Hamilton County the best place to raise a family in the US!  I miss living there, but love how close it is to Kokomo.  There is something about Indiana summers that makes me miss this place like crazy!  Maybe that’s why I’ve been back twice this week!  :)

I love to love Puffs plus lotion!  I keep a box of these in my bedroom and in my bathroom.  I like to have them right at my fingertips.  You never know when you will need a tissue, and any old tissue won’t do.  I only buy the ones with the lotion to go easy on the nose, especially when you have a cold.  Nothing beats Puff’s plus lotion tissues!  Aaachoo!

Oh how I love to LOVE Paradise Bakery and Cafe!  My order is always half a chicken walnut sandwich and a cup of fire roasted tomato soup.  The best part is the OUTRAGEOUS chocolate chip cookie that comes with every meal.  The soup and sandwich are good enough to go for alone but add the cookie and you’ve got a “gotta have it now” kind of meal.  Good thing I live 35 min away from the nearest Paradise Cafe!

I love to love Coffee-Mate Fat Free French Vanilla Creamer!  I was never a coffee drinker until I started working in Indianapolis after I graduated from college.  Commuting an hour from Kokomo to Indy with a 5:15 am start time meant I needed caffeine.  I had my first cup of coffee with Coffee-Mate Fat Free French Vanilla Creamer and I was hooked.  I am not a cup a day girl, more of a cup a week; but you know that cup has delicious Coffee-Mate and one pack of equal.

The Love to Love it Target week continues!  Oh, how I love to love a Target Coke and Popcorn Dollar Deal! Nothing like a sweet and salty treat to enjoy while you browse around your favorite store.  Sarah, Nic, and I have spent many afternoons bopping around Target with a delicious snack.  And seriously, who can beat a dollar for a coke and popcorn?…….that would run you ten bucks at the movie!  Ahhh, so many reasons to love Target!

Am I seriously starting a blog? March 31, 2008

My husband, my friends, my family….everyone is doing these blogs.  I have had some serious questions about these things.  They seem a little narcissistic.  Who would want to read about what I think or have to say?  I’m not that interesting.  I say if you want to know something just ask me.  Blogs also seem like alot of maintenance.   You have to keep up with your own, plus read everyone else’s.  An interesting phenomena of blogs is that people you don’t know become part of your “daily routine.”  Take for example this Carlos Whittaker guy; he’s like some kind of blog celebrity.  I was at lunch today with Jason (my husband) and our good friends Sam and Sarah (we were eating delicious chick-fil-a) and they were all talking about what was going on with Carlos’s blog-they check it all the time.  I mean, 4 people eating lunch in Noblesville, IN are chatting it up about a guy that we have never met who lives in Atlanta, GA.  That is kind of weird, don’t you think?  When I got home, I thought I really need to get a blog so I can contribute to some conversation.  Here’s the deal….I’m not going to blog about my days or what happened at my job or even how I feel about politics.  If you want to know that stuff, just ask….I am more of a talker than a writer.  What I am going to “blog” about is all my favorites!  Things I love to love!  I am what you might call brand loyal.  My husband calls me a marketers biggest dream.  I love a great product and once I love it, I buy it forever (or until something better comes along).  So, I hope you will enjoy some of my favorite things and maybe you can let me know what some of yours are!   So I guess yes, I am seriously starting a blog…….
