I love to love the tv series Felicity SO much!  This show first aired  in 1998-when I was a junior in high school.  It follows Felicity through her 4 years in college at a school in New York City.  The characters and story of this show captured my heart.  I think I have been through each season at least 4 times.  I own them all on DVD now.  When this show aired-it aligned perfectly with my season of life.  I anxiously anticipated each episode, and love all of them still to this day.  This show would go down as my all time favorite TV series hands down.

I’ll admit it, I love to love the 4th hour of the Today show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hota Kotb.  I look forward to it everyday.  It is totally useless info most of the time and often, corny humor-but I can’t get enough.  I actually get disappointed when Kathie Lee or Hota is gone and they have a guest host fill in.  It’s just not the same.  So, I said it….I love to love the 4th hour of today!

I love to love National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation!  Nothing says the holidays like Chevy Chase on the roof!  I had never seen this movie until I joined my husband’s family.  They watch it every Thanksgiving night, to “kick off” the season.  I never get sick of this movie.  I LOVE it!  I usually pull it out once in July for fun and then watch it 2-3 times around the holidays.  My favorite scene is when the entire family is sitting around the dinner table and the aunt is praying but says the pledge of allegiance instead.  I think everyone can see their family in this movie somewhere.  Sometimes, I see a little too much of my family in this movie .  

Hip-hip-hooray for Christmas Vacation!

I love to love Project Runway!  This Bravo show is so addicting!  (Even my husband tunes in).  It is a reality show that follow 14 fashion designers as they compete in crazy design challenge.  Each week someone “is out,” if they design doesn’t cut it.  I love watching the beautiful (sometimes crazy) fashion they create using anything from expensive fabrics, to candy wrappers, even products from a grocery store!  Each season I alway have my favorite designers, and tune into see if they’ll make it to the next week.  One of my favorite parts of the show is Tim Gunn, the designers’ mentor.  He’s fabulous!  If you’ve never seen Project Runway tune into Bravo Wen nights at 9pm.  You won’t be sorry!

Oh how I love to LOVE Ina Garten.  She is so fabulous!  Her show, Barefoot Contessa, is my favorite on the Food Network.  She has a fabulous life.  She lives with her husband Jeffrey in the Hamptons.  Her show revolves around her life entertaining her friends and family.  She really knows how to throw a party.  What I love most about her is she pulls off elegance with such ease.  Whether she is hosting a Sunday morning brunch or a Friday night dinner for Jeffery, she loves cooking and especially for those she cares about.  She also writes cookbooks.  I own Barefoot Contessa Parties, Barefoot Contessa Family Style, and Barefoot Contessa At Home, buy them here.  My favorite is Barefoot Contessa Parties, but they are all great!  I will warn you, her food is not South Beach approved .  She doesn’t skimp on the heavy cream if you know what I mean, but once and a while, a decadent meal is pure bliss!  

I have to say that thing I love to love most about Ina is her story.  She was working in the WHITE HOUSE office of Management and Budget during Jimmy Carter’s administration, and decided she needed a change.  She wasn’t doing what she loved.  She went out on a huge step of faith and bought a speciality food store in the Hamptons, without any experience to draw from!  Talk about brave!  She spent 18 years running that store, Barefoot Contessa before she sold it.  Once she sold the store, she started writing cookbooks and began new endeavors on the Food Network.  That inspires me!  Even though she had a fantastic job at the White House of all places, she didn’t settle for doing something less than what she really loved.  We all could learn a little from that.

It happened…..I love to LOVE Lost!  I had never seen this show until this summer.  Jason and I watched 4 seasons of lost in about 5 weeks!  We couldn’t stop.  I used to think, “who would want to watch some stupid sci-fi show about people stuck on an island?”  Well, I WOULD!  Jason had this playing one day while I was cleaning my house and I found myself asking questions like, “wait, what’s going on?”  or “who’s that?”  Basically, I found myself sitting on the couch watching instead of cleaning and I LOVE to clean my house.  The rest was history.  I can’t stop watching and now we are all caught up and have to wait until it comes on in December!!!!! We do have to thank Joel for introducing us to the drug.  I am now a LOST fanatic!
