Love to Love it #75 January 21, 2009

I love to love our newest game, Elfenland!  I know, it looks pretty weird.  A little Dungeons and Dragons-ish…..but I promise, it’s great!  We have really been getting into all of these board games that recive the German award, Board Game of the Year or “Spiel des Jahres!”  The games we’ve played that have won this award are awesome.  This game is a transportation game of chance and strategy.  It’s hard to explain, so go here to learn more.  There’s not much better than an evening of great games with great friends.

Love to Love it #6 April 5, 2008

I REALLY LOVE TO LOVE TICKET TO RIDE.  This game could consume my life it I wasn’t careful.  Jason and Brigit Braun first introduced Jason and I to this addictive game of bliss.  We own the Germany version but it comes in a USA, Europe and Switzerland .  Basically when you first hear about this game you are wondering how in the world this could be any fun….and then you play…..and then you are hooked for life.  The point of this game is to link up cities with different train routes and collect points.  This is by far the best game I have ever played.  If I could play this everyday for the rest of my life, I don’t think I would get tired of it. Like I said, I REALLY LOVE TO LOVE IT!
