I love to love Trader Joe’s grocery store!  The closest one to me is almost an hour away-but it’s worth the drive whenever I can make it.  Trader Joe’s truly is a unique grocery store experience!  They have alot of items that you can’t find in a traditional grocery store-at least around me :) .  Some of my favorite items to buy here are the delicious fruit leathers (like good for you fruit roll ups) and any of their yummy frozen desserts-yum!  Also, they have a fantastic AFFORDABLE wine section if you happen to be a wine lover.  I love getting to a Trader Joe’s whenever I can!

smore1

I love to LOVE a s’more…….. or four or five or six of them!  Can’t beat that melt in your mouth deliciousness of toasted marshmallow, warm chocolate, and crisp graham cracker!  I go camping one time a year, and the main draw is the unlimited s’mores.  What a joy to find a fire and toast some up!  Yummmmmm!

weber

I love to LOVE my Weber grill!  With winter knocking on the door-I’m sad to see our summer dinners on the grill will soon be fading away!  I think we will be able to sneak in a few more BBQs before the first snow-but I am always sad to see the “grilling season” end!  We got our Weber grill as a very generous wedding gift over five years ago.  I have to say, I think it was our favorite gift!  I love the quality and durability of this grill-and especially love the great taste!  It cleans up great and five years later-still looks like new!  Can’t beat a Weber!

DSC_0004

I love to love an amazing coupon match up!  Today, the bestie and I went deal hunting and boy did we score!  See all that food up there, valued at over $50.00-I got it all for FREE!  By shopping the sales at Meijer and then using a store coupon AND a manufacturer coupon-they gave me all this food for FREE and then actually paid me a few dollars because I had more in coupon value than I actually spent!  The self check out kiosk was spitting money at me!  So they paid me to take off this food off their hands.  In total I got, 8-100 calorie packs, 2 Kool-Aid Jammers, 1 Kraft Singles, 2 Deli Creations, and 1-12 pack of Fig Newtons-all FREE!  The candles pictured are from Target, on sale for $1.66, and each at a $1.50 coupon inside-so they were .16 cents each.  I used the money Meijer gave  me to buy these for around .80 cents.  All and all a very fun afternoon at NO COST!

Noochymama has taught me everything I know!  She’s the most awesome deal seeking mom I know!  Thanks Noochymama!

ruths-chris-steak-house

I love to love Ruth’s Chris Steak House!  I have been craving it all summer!  We head to the restaurant about twice a year, and I dream about it in the months between visits.  It’s totally indulgent-the food is calorie packed and expensive and worth every penny!  I savor every bite of my petite filet mignon, garlic mashed potatoes, bread, broccoli au gratin, and some type of chocolate dessert!  The steaks are to die for.  They put butter on top and serve them sizzling hot!  To me, it’s the best steak you can find.  They have franchises across the country.  If you have one near you, go, it’s a treat!

black_raspberry_chip

I love to love Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chip Ice Cream!  It is hands down the very best ice cream I have ever had.  Greater’s is made in Cincinnati, OH, and until recently was only available in and around the Cincy area.  But, a friend just tipped me off to the best news…….our local MARSH supermarket carried Graeter’s ice cream!  I went right out, bought myself a pint and had it for breakfast!  Yum!  If you can get your hands on this, you will not be disappointed-it will be the best ice cream you have ever had.

clara

I love to LOVE Depression Cooking with Clara!  This is one of the best things I have watched in a long time!  Clara is a 93 year old great grandmother who is still sharp as a tack in the kitchen.  Her family has put together a You Tube Channel full of recipes from the Depression.  Clara cooks them all, and shares lots of stories from her past while she’s at it .  I watched every episode at once, I couldn’t stop.  There is something about this charming woman.  Her warmth radiates though the screen.  I hope to be half as sharp as Clara when I’m 60!  Check her You Tube Channel out, I know you’ll fall in love with her too!

Check her out here!

camelback

I love to love my pink BPA free Camelback 16 oz. water bottle.  It’s such a nice size and I love that the plastic is BPA free!  This water bottle is a little different, you drink from a straw.  It took me a little time to get used to the way the straw works (you have to bite it for any water to be able to come up), but I love it now.  The straw is leak proof.  So for a clumsy girl like me, that’s perfect!  Plus, it’s so great for the environment to  reuse instead of opening a new plastic water bottle each time you want some water!

mcdonalds-drink

I love to love the $1.00 fountain drinks at McDonald’s.  Any size, any flavor fountain drink: $1.00.  My personal favorite, large half regular-half diet. Love it!

12-day-of-christmas-apron

I love to love my 12 days of Christmas apron from Willams-Sonoma!  Every year the women in my family get together to do a little (or a lot) of Christmas shopping.  We do a dinner or a lunch and exchange some gifts.  It’s such a fun holiday tradition that I look forward to all year long.  This year my cousin Leslie gave me this cute apron.  It has images from the song “The 12 Days of Christmas.”  I love aprons, but I never had one for Christmas, now I do!  I especially love the girly ruffles at the bottom!
