I really love to LOVE Aunt Sue’s Tea Room!  This little gem is located in Marion, Indiana.  An unlikely spot for such a lovely place.  I can’t say enough great things about this tea room.  I have been several times, with family and friends and most recently, my awesome husband (God love him) even joined me, thanks to an invite from Sarah and Sam.  It is such a fun place to take girlfriends to enjoy a quite and relaxing afternoon.  I always get the Queen’s Tea. This is only $10.00 and comes with your own pot of tea, soup, chicken salad or a green salad, 2 scones (with devonshire cream and lemon curd-my favorite- for dipping), fruit, 3 finger sandwiches, and 3 desserts.  It is such a deal and so delicious!  All I can tell you is, go try it for yourself!  You won’t be disappointed!

I love to love Gillette Venus Razors!  They are great.  Thay are head and sholders above your average disposable.  I love that you just buy the refills and don’t have to replace the whole razor each time.  It is more expensive then the old disposable one time use razors, but I have to say it is really worth it.  Once you use it, you will never go back.

I love to love Green Bags!  These cool grocery bags are all over the place now.  Lots of companies are making versions of reusable grocery bags, I happen to own the ones made above from greenbag.info.  Here in Kokomo, I bought them for about a buck each at Marsh.  I use them all the time, for groceries and for carrying things to meetings, transporting library books, ect.  They are very durable and help to make a difference for our environment.  Plastic bags are terrible for our planet.  They take hundreds, that’s right hundreds of years to decompose, they contribute to filling up our land fills, and the factories that produce them emit toxic gases through burning.  They also harm animals; 100,000 mammals and turtles are killed by plastic debris each year.  But you can make a change.  Buy these bags for as very small investment.  Take them in when you shop.  Say no thank you to plastic.  It’s a small step, but think if we all did it?

I love to love Ace of Cakes on the Food Network!  Jason and I watch this show all the time.  It’s a show about a small cake bakery in Baltimore that makes amazing cakes!  Duff is the owner and he has hired all of his friends to help him whip up all the delicious creations.  The show follows that decorators as they make their beautiful designs each week.  So fun!

I love to love the Pottery Barn Catalogue! I really love the actual store and would love to go pick out my house room by room there, but I don’t have an extra $100,000 to decorate my home. Instead, I love to get the catalogue for FREE and get inspiration. What is new lately in the catalgue?….well, looks like color with bold patters is the newest idea. I love to take the ideas in the cataloge and go to target and replicate it for 1/3 of the cost. Don’t get me wrong, if you can afford to get the real thing-more power to you! It’s alot easier to go to the store and get the original; but if you budget is alittle tighter, opt for the catalogue and see what you can find in Target. If you don’t get the cataloge but want to, click here to sign up for it.

I really love to LOVE OPI nail polish!  I don’t have a huge mani/pedi budget…let’s get serious…..I don’t have any mani/pedi budget, so I’m looking to doing my nails at home most of the time.  I love having my nails done, but hate paying $25 bucks for a manicure of $50 bucks for a pedicure.  I can do a pretty good one myself at home for FREE!  The trick to great looking nails is great polish.  OPI rocks!  It is a little pricy, but it lasts forever.  It goes on really smooth, mine never clumps, and lays great on the nail.  Also, you have to love the color names.  Some of my favorites are “Bubble Bath,” “Passion,” and “You’re such a Kabuki Queen.” What’s your favorite color?

I love to love Puffs plus lotion!  I keep a box of these in my bedroom and in my bathroom.  I like to have them right at my fingertips.  You never know when you will need a tissue, and any old tissue won’t do.  I only buy the ones with the lotion to go easy on the nose, especially when you have a cold.  Nothing beats Puff’s plus lotion tissues!  Aaachoo!

Oh do I love to LOVE MIAMI UNIVERSITY! You can’t help but love a place that is this beautiful! The picture above is McCracken Hall, where I spent my sophomore year, not a bad place to call home right? Four of the best years of my life were spend on this campus in tiny Oxford, OH. I made great, really great, friends, learned more about who I am, and found my passions in those 4 year! There are so many things to love, so I’ll just highlight a few. You have to love the beautiful Georgian-style architecture red brick building! It’s one of the most beautiful campus in the Midwest! You also have to love the delicious food! Some of the best college food in the country. My favorite treat was the smoothies from Bell Tower! Finally you have to love the traditions! A school since 1809, the campus has had plenty of time to create great traditions! My favorite tradition was found right under the Upham Arch. Kiss your significant other under the arch at midnight and they will become your husband or wife….affectionately called a “Miami Merger.” I need to go back and visit soon!
