Oh how I love to LOVE Paradise Bakery and Cafe! My order is always half a chicken walnut sandwich and a cup of fire roasted tomato soup. The best part is the OUTRAGEOUS chocolate chip cookie that comes with every meal. The soup and sandwich are good enough to go for alone but add the cookie and you’ve got a “gotta have it now” kind of meal. Good thing I live 35 min away from the nearest Paradise Cafe!

Is there one of these cafes on 86th Street just off Allisonville Road?
um, there is one in clay terrace and one at allisonville and 465.
Allisonville and 465 is the one I have seen. I’ll have to check it out next time I’m in that area.
That’s exactly what I get also, except I’m white chocolate chip or Snickerdoodle!
Gretchen, I miss seeing you! I, too, adore this restaurant. I first discovered one last March in Phoenix, AZ. My trip out there was to attend my brother’s unexpected funeral. The whole visit was extremely sad, but I made happy memories at the Paradise Bakery there. I got to eat their oatmeal (an oatmeal-raisin cookie topped with oatmeal and fruit) for breakfast, and loved every bite. I was so excited to find out that they’re in IN too!!
okay, i tried the fire roasted tomato based on your recommendation. people, gretchen lee knows what she is talking about! best soup ever! in fact, while i was enjoying this delicious soup, a woman asked me what it was and if it was good. she also tried the soup and loved it! thanks for spreading some soup love!
I’m so glad you liked it the soup!
